The Get Down Presents: Salsa at the Eso

Join us in the taproom for a night of great Latin dancing as we celebrate Cinco de Mayo! We're kicking off the evening with a super fun beginner Dance Class at 4:30 PM.
Don't worry if you've got two left feet - our amazing instructors will guide you every step of the way. Once you've got your basics down, get ready to hit the dance floor and show off your moves!
From 5:00 PM until 8:30 PM, we'll be grooving to the infectious rhythms of salsa, bachata, and merengue played by DJ Milan! NEW!
After 8:30 PM until 10:00 PM stay with us for ESO AFTER DARK to hang out after the social on the patio!
And don't worry about parking - there's an ample free parking lot right behind Esoteric, or you can simply park on the street

Join us Friday, May 10th, for a night of creativity as we welcome our current artist in residence, John Lanzador, for a night of drinks, drawing, and chats! Sip on your favorite Esoteric brews while admiring John's captivating artwork. Engage in lively conversations with fellow art enthusiasts.
Plus, don't forget to grab a special edition crowler featuring John's artwork. Proceeds from these crowlers will be donated to Visionaries and Voices, a non-profit organization that provides creative, professional, and educational opportunities to artists with disabilities.

Sunday Funnies: Comedy and Storytelling Open Mic

Monthly on every third Sunday
Check out Sunday Funnies, an open-mic for stand-up comedy or comedic storytelling. Join a writing circle at 11AM to brainstorm ideas, chat about what makes an idea funny, or try out a few jokes in front of a small group. At noon, we’ll kick off an open mic for all levels of talent, then close it out with a few local favorites performing their punchlines! This event is not exclusive, the goal is to create an environment encouraging to new voices who may be intimidated by more traditional open mic settings. Priority is given to women, transwomen, non-binary and femme-presenting performers. 5-10 minutes before the show, the remaining spots will open to any other interested performers. If you've always been told "You should do stand-up!" but haven't had the courage to try, this is the place for you. Bring friends, bring your appetites, and bring that story you tell at every holiday party. Yes, that one. We want to hear it.
